Day 10 of 30: NATURE DAY!

DAY 10 OF 30!
TIGHT BODY 30 DAY CHALLENGE!

Welcome to DAY 10! Today is all about getting out in nature, and being one with it. Whether you have five minutes, fifteen, a half hour, or an hour or more, please, get outside and take in the freshness of the air, the warmth of the sunshine on your skin, the earth under your feet, and perhaps, even a breeze through your hair.

Take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the great outdoors. While you're at it, you might even like to take a few pictures. I highly suggest going solo, but if your schedule or circumstances won't permit it, go with a mate, or take a group.

Many times we get so caught up in our 'To-do" list, responsibilities, and general tasks of daily living, we forget what it's like to be in nature, and relax. Nature is fascinating, from tiny insects, to the rolling clouds overhead, I'm always in awe of nature. I love watching sunsets. I feel like God paints a perfect picture every evening, and no two are alike.

If you absolutely can't get out today, perhaps you can star gaze tonight. It's usually much quieter, you can hear the insects chirping, and various background noises, but mostly the stillness of the night fills the air. See if you can remember any astrology, or make up your own.

SOME IDEAS OF WHAT TO DO

- Walk barefoot in the sand for at least 15 minutes
- Walk barefoot in the dirt for at least 15 minutes
- Walk barefoot in the grass for at least 15 minutes
- Walk barefoot on gravel for at least 15 minutes
- Hike: Collect a rock, leaf, flower, to take home as a souvenir
- Swim
- Rock climb
- Go to the beach
- Picnic
- Sun tan
- Fish
- Go for a summer chair lift at a ski resort and hike down
- Bird watch: Make a bird feeder while your at it, take pictures, etc.
- Watch the sunset
- Go to the mountains
- Go to a lake
- Plant some flowers, or a tree (Purchase an indoor plant as a reminder of your CHALLENGE!)
- Lay in the grass 
- Cloud watch
- Go to a pond and feed the ducks

If you don't have any of the following, you can rent:
- Surf
- Boat
- Kayak
- Canoe
- Go tubing

For the more adventurous:
- Mountain biking
- Sky dive
- Para glide
- Balloon ride
- Water ski

Whatever you choose to do today, have fun with it, create memories, and enjoy NATURE!
