Day 19 of 30: Change

DAY 19 OF 30!
TIGHT BODY 30 DAY CHALLENGE!

How are you doing today? Can you believe it's already Friday again? Has your week gone by fast or slow? Why? How are things coming along for you? Have you noticed anything new about yourself while participating in the TIGHT BODY 30 DAY CHALLENGE! Have you been facing your fears? Are you standing up to yourself? Have you been contemplating any changes in your self, lifestyle, habits, and /or associations? If so, what are they? Why?

CHANGE

Most people fear change, dread change, and will do just about anything to avoid change. Change for most people is a scary thing. Change usually requires you take a leap of faith, and step out into the darkness, which usually ends up being quite bright once we 'get there'. When it comes to change, I believe:

WHAT YOU RESIST....PERSISTS

If you are getting the feeling it's time to make some changes in your life, in whatever area it may be, take a look at the Pro's and Con's. Make a list if you need to. I also believe:

IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO MAKE THE CHANGE ON YOUR OWN, UNIVERSAL LAW HAS A WAY OF DOING IT FOR YOU.

Simply put, circumstances will eventually come your way to 'encourage', or perhaps, force you to make the change. Check it out and see for yourself if this doesn't hold true. 

Today, I'd like you to focus on listening to your 'inner' voice. Consider any changes you might find feasible, beneficial, and enlightening, and decide what to do with that information. Change is very personal. 

CHANGE REQUIRES COPING MECHANISMS

Be prepared to cope with any decisions you plan to make in regards to change, as coping skills always come into play when you're considering making a change. This means you also need healthy coping skills. Are they currently in place? If so, fantastic! If not, no problem, begin today brainstorming various ways you cope with situations, and change. Keep the healthy ways of coping, eliminate the unhealthy. For instance, many people eat on 'autopilot' to cope. Remember, change calls into play many emotions, often many mixed emotions. If you tend to eat with your emotions, take a reality check, and create a plan of action to cope in new, healthier ways. You can do it!

CHANGE REQUIRES FAITH AND BELIEF IN ONES SELF AND/OR ONE OF A GREATER

To see a change through to the end, you MUST believe in yourself, and your ability to come out on top in the end. Some changes take time to fall into place, others fall in sync almost immediately. Do not despair, or second guess your decision(s) if yours is one which will take time, perhaps months, or even years, to fulfill. Stand true to yourself. Once you've made the decision to do, or not to do something, stand by it 110%, as anything less sets you up for  doubt, and doubting ones self leads to failure the majority of the time. 

BOTTOM LINE

Change happens all the time in our lives whether we realize it or not, understand it or not, want it to or not, it happens. Learn to understand when you need to make changes in your life. If you find yourself resisting them, ask yourself why? Be aware of coping skills. Learning to cope with change in healthy ways is an asset well worth mastering.
